Geotextiles
Woven Fabrics
Woven Stabilization geotextiles are used in paved and unpaved roads, where soft soils in the subgrade may be present. The expected life of paved roads and parking lots is extended by permanently separating the subgrade from the aggregate. As an alternate, the aggregate thickness can be reduced by as much as 50%.

Non-woven Fabrics
Nonwoven Geotextiles act as a permeable separation, allowing water to pass while preventing soils and other material from passing. Lightweight nonwoven geotextiles (3 oz. to 4.2 oz.) are used as filter fabric in subsurface drainage applications.
Their high flow rates and small opening sizes make them ideal as filter fabrics. In addition to drainage, lightweight nonwoven geotextiles are often used as landscape fabric, weed barrier or for lightweight separation under pavers. Medium weight nonwovens (6 oz. to 10 oz.) are typically used for erosion control and separation/drainage applications. Heavyweight nonwoven geotextiles (12 oz. to 16 oz.) are often used as a geomembrane cushion, placed above or below the geomembrane to protect it from puncture.

Paving Geotextiles
Paving Geotextiles are installed with liquid asphaltic tack coat to provide a waterproof barrier between old and new asphalt applications. This barrier retards reflective cracking and extends the life of the new pavement system.

Geogrid
Biaxial Grid
Biaxial geogrids are made from polypropylene and are installed in subbases or subsoils below roads and parking lots. Soils pull apart under tension.
